Number of ways of covering $m$ points by $n$ shapes?

Suppose $m$ points labelled $1,2,.....,m$ are on circumference of circle, find the number of ways of covering these $m$ points by $n$ shapes and no shapes touches any other shape. Shapes can be of triangles or chords.
I solved problems which involves only one shape.
I am not able to imagine the recursive decomposition.
